Places to Eat

Chapter IV - Features a modern take on classic Creole dishes passed down from Chef Dook's grandmother, the late Chef Leah Chase.


Compère Lapin - A sophisticated eatery featuring Caribbean, French influences with nods to Italy as well, brought to you by James Beard award winning Chef Nina Compton. Date night approved!


Iron Works Coffee - Start the day with an amazing cold brew or Paloma along side fresh made crepes & pastries.


Social House - Catch their happy hour 5-8pm daily for great cocktails, shared plates & a vibe.


Flamingo-A-Go-Go - Your go-to destination for bottomless brunch, daily specials, and outdoor day drinking on the largest courtyard in the Warehouse District.

Republic Nola - This warehouse turned concert venue & nightclub is home to some of the best live experiences in the city.

Felix's Restaurant & Oyster Bar - Hands-down... the BEST chargrilled oysters near Bourbon St!


Cafe Sbisa - Fresh, local French-Creole cuisine. The BBQ Shrimp are a must-try.


Arnaud's Restaurant - Classic creole cuisine in the heart of the French Quarter.


Café Du Monde - Iconic New Orleans cafe known for chicory coffee & beignets since 1862.


Justine - Stylish option for creative French fare including weekend brunch & craft cocktails.

Priest Robi's Voodoo Tour - Join High Priest Robi as he seeks to illuminate one of New Orleans’ most unique subcultures. Along the way, he will explain the truth behind the more popular superstitions and the meaning within some of its origins & rituals.


Frenchmen Street - Walk over to the off-the-beaten gem, a “local’s Bourbon Street” where real New Orleanians gather to listen to live music and grab a drink.


New Orleans School of Cooking - Book a class and get hands-on instructions as you learn some of the Nola classics.

The Vintage- Bubbles & Beignets, need we say more? The Vintage is a chic cafe with Paris-style decor serving coffee, beignets, cocktails & wine, plus small plates.


Lula's Distillery- In the heart of New Orleans, expertly crafted food, spirits and cocktails come together in a unique privately owned micro-distillery and restaurant.


Peche- Cuisine inspired by the cooking of South America, Spain, and the Gulf Coast, Pêche serves simply prepared contemporary dishes, rustic creations cooked on an open hearth, as well as fresh oysters and Gulf fish.


Jack Rose- Jack Rose features menu items that are a mix of New Orleans’ craveable Italian, French and Spanish dishes. George and Leah McKenna Museum of African American Art - An institution that collects, exhibits, and preserves the visual aesthetic of people of the African Diaspora. Because of its intimate boutique style touring, The McKenna Museum and its collections are open to the public by appointment only.


Garden District Free Tours by Foot - This walking tour is not just mansions and manicured gardens, but stories of legends, tragedy, epidemics, lost causes, movie stars, celebrity chefs, and haunted spirits.


Hot Tin - High atop the Pontchartrain Hotel, Hot Tin rooftop bar is known for its craft cocktails and chic atmosphere. This is the best view of the Crescent City!
